Henry Gray established Gray's Automatic Transmissions Inc., in 1973. He has been in the automotive industry since he was 19 years old. He had always wanted to become a mechanic, but when he attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College, he knew he wanted to specialize in automatic transmissions.
Upon completing his 4 years of military service, including a tour in Desert Storm, Travis began mopping floors and cleaning up the place. After receiving training from Texas State Technical College, Travis began removing and replacing transmissions, and progressed to rebuilding transmissions. He is now part of Gray's Sales and Marketing team.
Nathan began working at the shop when he was 13. He would clean up and watch his dad and older brothers. After a stint serving his country as a proud Marine, he joined the business, and was trained to build torque converters in Reno, Nevada. He is now the Shop Service Manager.
Gary started in the business with his Dad and older bother. He became one of the best rebuilders in San Angelo. He has several certifications and is now hoping to train his son, Cedrick, about the ins and outs of the business.
